A few days after having presented us an exclusive BEAMS x Clarks Wallabee (article available HERE), the famous Japanese shop is once again associated with the French brand SALOMON. For this 4th common project, the two partners have reworked the first model of the best-seller « XA PRO GORE-TEX » from 2001.
This shoe combines retro look and innovative technology.
It’s dressed in a grey/blue color scheme and features an asymmetric design, dark on one side and light on the other. The mesh used on the base of the shoe is a coarse mesh material developed especially for the occasion. The GORE-TEX lining ensures the best comfort in all weather conditions. We find the classic Salomon specs, such as the sturdy and easy on/off lacing system, Quicklace, and the comfortable EVA midsole with premium cushioning. The whole is based on a black rubber traction outsole.
The BEAMS x SALOMON « XA PRO 1 GORE-TEX » is available for pre-order in stores and on the beams.co.jp shop website. The price is set at 240$ (26 400 ¥).
