CLARKS regularly partners with big names in lifestyle and sneaker design to create exceptional collabs. In addition to presenting its latest project with Ronnie Fieg, the legendary shoe brand unveils a Desert Rock reimagined by Japanese retailer BEAMS.
This new release follows the “Wallaroo” triple collaborative released last year.
BEAMS chose to revisit a ‘hidden masterpiece’ of CLARKS, the Desert Rock. A modernized version of the legendary Desert Trooper from the shoe specialist’s archives.
This special version has a simple and elegant look.
It consists of a premium suede upper in Sand color with matching stitching. This base is equipped with a GORE-TEX fabric to accentuate the model’s functionality, comfort and durability. In the same spirit, the inner lining is dressed with ‘elastic’ rubber to create a slip-on style. Thanks to its structure, this special pair can be worn with or without laces (which are also tonal with the upper). To affirm the collab, the BEAMS x Clarks Desert Rock has a double hangtag with the brandings of the 2 brands engraved. The whole is based on an iconic cleated sole, color matched with the upper.

The BEAMS x CLARKS Originals Desert Rock GTX was released exclusively on March 21, 2023 on the Japanese shop beams.co.jp at a retail price of ¥31,900 ($242). It will then be available on March 31, 2023 at selected retailers around the world. Be ready !
