The Japanese streetwear brand BAPE and the German giant adidas Originals continue their successful collaboration by presenting us a new version of the iconic Superstar silhouette. After the duo released in February (article available HERE), an iteration « ABC Camo Green » is offered.
This new sneaker is dressed in the iconic ABC Green camouflage print of the Japanese brand. It consists of a smooth leather upper covered with the green camo pattern, with the matching tongue. On the right panels of each foot, we discover the STA signature shooting star logo A Bathing Ape and on the left panels the traditional adidas 3 stripes are kept. These branding details appear in white, as do the inner lining, heel tab, insole and laces. To complete the look, elements of the shoe are adorned in gold, such as the tongue co-branding, the brand names on the side panels and the metallic dubrae with the embossed BAPE. Heel and insoles brandings, meanwhile, are defined in black. A shelltoe and off-white rubber sole finalize the design.
THE BAPE x adidas Superstar « ABC Camo Green » will be released on May 8, 2021 at select retailers such as FOOTSHOP via a raffle that is now open for registration here : releases.footshop.com . Sizesrun US 4 to US 13 and price set at 150$. Don’t sleep !
