Atmos x Staple x New Balance X-Racer Utility « Crow & Pigeon »

After having teased a triple collaboration silhouette with Staple Design and New Balance earlier this week, the famous Japanese shop Atmos unveils the official images of the much awaited X-Racer Utility named « Crow & Pigeon ».

The sneaker, originally designed for outdoor all-terrain activities, is inspired by two typical birds from Tokyo for Atmos and New York for Staple, the Crow and the Pigeon respectively. The pigeon is the emblem of Jeff Staple’s company. Masterpieces of this collaboration, the crow and the pigeon appear elegantly in embroidery, each on either side of the grey side heel. The shoe consists of a black ripstop fabric upper in the front of the foot and a pink gradient in the back area. We discover tone-on-tone overlays on the toe box and grey overlays on the heel counter (as wrote higher) with matching grey lining. New Balance’s signature purple color is used to define the emblematic N logo on the side, as well as the thin, long tongue label that also serves as a lace-up loop. The black tongue is adorned with a fur top and reflective details, a nod to the bird feathers highlighted by this collaboration. To ensure the shoe’s trail imprint while taking care of the design, the two sets of laces are round, rope and two-tone, and the heel benefits from a light grey reinforcement embellished with the NB label. The pink insole with divided co-branding and the comfortable black and grey midsole with a pink and speckled part under the middle of the foot, complete the look. The whole is based on a black outsole with an alternation of pink studs finalizing the concept developed by the 3 partners.

In parallel to this sneaker, a collection with the same color combination was created. It includes a hoodie, a long-sleeved t-shirt and a short-sleeved t-shirt.

The Atmos x Staple x New Balance X-Racer Utility « Crow & Pigeon » will be available on November 28, 2020 via a draw on atmos-tokyo.com, which will be open for registration from November 24 to 26, 2020. The price is set at 125€. The textile collection will be released in first, on November 21, 2020.
