atmos x Nike LeBron 18 Low « Sakura »

Earlier this week, a Nike LeBron 18 Low « Viotech » had surfaced on social networks (article available HERE). Seemingly inspired by the legendary ATMOS x Nike Air Max 1 released in 2003, this pair is finally confirmed as a new collab with the Japanese reference shop. In addition to this LeBron 18 Low « Viotech », another collaborative iteration named « Sakura » has been developed.

For the design of this second colorway, Atmos was inspired by the cherry blossom, a symbol of Japan.

Influenced by the prestigious Japanese craft heritage, this version also aims to connect streetwear and basketball performance.  It combines soft colors and meticulous details with premium performance elements and bold design.

This sneaker consists of an upper with pastel pink, yellow, blue and green graphics, with a transparent checkered upper layer. The attention to detail can be seen in the side Swoosh made with floral embroidery. Branding details appear embroidered on the tongue and back of the heel. To complete the look, elements appear in beige, such as the geometrically shaped laceguard, as well as the inner lining and heel that offer maximum comfort. The harmony of the design is also ensured by the pink color applied to the laces and the heel clip. The whole is based on a transparent icy outsole with matching Air under heel unit.

The atmos x Nike LeBron 18 Low « Sakura » and « Viotech » colorways will be released on April 23, 2021, at most atmos stores and atmos-tokyo.com, priced at 180$ per colorway. Sizes ranging from US4 to US 13.

To learn more about these pairs, a special interview with Koji, the designer-art director of Atmos, about this collaboration with LeBron will be broadcasted on the shop’s website from April 23. The viewing of an atmos TV program with MC MAMUSHI as guest will also be available.
