The Japanese reference shop ATMOS continues to present us interesting collaborations. After having revisited 3 classic silhouettes of the Californian brand VANS (article available HERE), Koji and his team unveil a new collab with the Bangkok based label #FR2 and the equipment manufacturer REEBOK.
Last year, for its 20th anniversary, ATMOS collaborated for the first time with designer-photographer Rabbit and his brand #FR2 founded in 2014. The latter is inspired by the activities of photographers and offers pieces created on the principle of « clothes that photographers wear ».
This capsule collection uses the color yellow and is adorned with the iconic #FR2 logo. It’s based on transparent plastic storage boxes with black reinforcements and the logos of the 2 brands coupled : the 2 naughty rabbits of #FR2 take the place of the T of ATMOS to elegantly associate the logos. We also discover co-branded water repellent sprays.
Regarding the continuation of this triple collab, a pair of sneaker Reebok CLUB C 25, two colors of socks and a short-sleeved t-shirt are offered. The shoe is dressed in white with a bright yellow faux fur lining. The iconic REEBOK branding on the sides of the shoe is replaced by « RABBIT », the #FR2 logo adorns the side heel and naughty bunnies appear on the heel tab. An all-white sole completes the look. To accompany these shoes, a pair of socks with the same co-branding is offered in white or black. The capsule also features a classic white Reebok t-shirt reimagined with the modified logos and branding details, just like on the sneaker.
The atmos x #FR2 x Reebok collection will be released as a limited edition only in Japan on June 26, 2021 via a raffle set up on atmos-tokyo.com starting June 22. To commemorate this release, a POP UP STORE will be held at the #FR2 Gallery in Harajuku on June 26 and 27, 2021. Prices are set at 120$ for the sneaker, 70$ for the t-shirt and the storage box, 25$ for each pair of socks and 20$ for the cleaning spray.
