After offering us a GEL-Lyte III OG « Aged Map » earlier this month, the famous Tokyo-based store ATMOS unveils another never-before-seen version of this legendary ASICS model. This new triple collaborative opus was imagined with the AH MURDERZ clothing brand created by reggae artist ‘Red Spider Junior’.
Through AH MURDERZ, Osaka-based REGGAE SOUND artist ‘Red Spider Junior‘ offers various items such as original clothing and accessories made and produced by him.
For the design of this triple collaborative GEL-Lyte III, the partners were inspired by AH MURDERZ’s iconic black and red colors, which appear mismatched on this version.
The sneaker consists of a two-tone suede and leather upper in black and red. These shades are reversed on each foot at the toe box and heel. The sides are presented in black on both feet with red Tigers Stripes. Specific details include a toe box with perforations, an embroidered spider logo on the mudguard and a subtle paisley pattern on the tongue and eyelet area. To complete the look, the insoles also feature the Paisley pattern and appear mismatched, black for the right foot and red for the left. The whole is based on a comfortable two-tone GEL technology midsole and a black/red outsole.
The pair comes with 2 sets of round laces, black and red, and in a special box.
The atmos x AH MURDERZ by RED SPIDER JR x ASICS GEL-LYTE III OG will be released exclusively on December 22, 2022 for $128 (17600 ¥) on Red Spider Jr’s brand website : ahmurderz.com and on December 23, 2022 in stores and online at atmos-tokyo.com via an open raffle since December 19, 2022.
