While today marks the opening of the ephemeral Pop Up Shop « atmos mart » commemorating the release of the « Air Max Collection » (article available HERE), the Japanese reference retailer unveils a new collaboration with its strong partner adidas. After bringing its touch to the legendary Superstar several times, atmos has also reworked the ZX 8000 runner.
Following the 3 previous collaboratives iterations, the ZX 8000 is named « g-snk » 4. The number 4 added at the end means that it’s the 4th version of the specific colorway.
The runner adopts a bold look with its bright colors and snakeskin print.
It consists of a metallic gold shiny mesh upper, complemented by neon red overlays featuring the famous snakeskin print. Black accents on the low midfoot overlay, the adidas lateral 3 stripes and the inner lining, add a nice contrast to the pair. The iconic heel clip is dressed in metallic gold, as is the midsole. The whole is based on a black rubber outsole finalizing the design.
The atmos x adidas ZX 8000 « g-snk » 4 will not have a general release, it will be ore-releasing at the atmos con vol.8 « Digital » festival to be held on March 20, 2021.
