The 1984 adidas bball silhouette, the FORUM, has been brought back to the forefront by the German equipment maker since late 2020. Serving as the basis for many quality collaborations, it was also offered in a Low exclusive atmos version last November (article dispo HERE). To go further, the Japanese reference shop has partnered with adidas to bring its personal touch to this legendary silhouette.
Since its inception, the adidas FORUM has been known for its performance on the basketball court, but also for its eye-catching design. It’s a lifestyle icon that is rooted in sneaker culture.
Atmos wanted to pay tribute to the impact and history of the FORUM by offering it to us in a luxurious aesthetic and in an ultra limited edition.
This collaborative version consists of a white leather upper with the iconic 3 Stripes and matching tongue strap. What makes this pair special is that it’s the first in the world to be laser customized. The atmos branding is found on the quarter panel, below the 3 Stripes, with the letter O replaced by the iconic adidas Trefoil logo. The latter also stands out in a subtle way in the area under the ankle and at the back of the heel. The white color chosen to dress the tongue with the tonal adidas branding, laces, insole, inner lining and the entire sole, ensures the pair’s refined look.
The atmos x adidas Forum Low will be released in a limited edition of 100 pairs in Japan on July 19, 2021 at atmos-tokyo.com and A.T.A.D. for 90$ (9900Y).
