Asics GEL-Lyte III x Sneaker Politics

A few months ago, I told you in an article (available HERE) about the famous collaboration between the Louisiana sneaker shop SNEAKER POLITICS and the Japanese brand ASICS. This GEL-Lyte III has a look inspired by the military service of the founder of SNEAKER POLITICS, Derek Curry.

Having had the chance to receive it thanks to my partner Asics USA, I suggest you to discover it in pictures on my feet.

Presented in a color blocking that refers to military uniforms, it consists of an olive green canvas upper with matching suede overlays. The Tigers Stripes are dressed in black and the side heel is adorned with a black and yellow military-style Velcro badge featuring a « POLITICS » branding surrounded by stars. To complete the look, the store’s circular black « P » logo is emblazoned on the heel and a tear on the toe box reveals the American flag motifs. A two-tone cream/green midsole and a yellow, green, off-white and black gum outsole finalize the look.

I find this Gel Lyte III made by Derek Curry beautiful. The design, the quality of materials, the finishes are successful, as well as the shape that I find rather correct. For me, this Asics is a « Must-Have » in a sneaker addict collection.
