A shoe became cult thanks to quality materials but above all, thanks to an exceptional colour code.
The “Wildcats” is inspired by a running club in Aberdeen city. A local club located in the town of Hanon store.
The pair, in red and yellow/orange colours, consists of an upper in high quality suede and perforated nubuck. There is the Hanon Flamme logo engraved on the heel and on a label added on the tongue. The whole is based on a classic Gel Lyte 3 sole.
This “Wildcats”, picked up 9 years after its release, represents for me one of the most beautiful collaborations of all brands in the world. Its colour code, finishes and materials are perfect. It’s one of the Grails I dreamed of and that I finally got to remove from my long wish list.
