The Japanese shop ATMOS is known to be very active in terms of collaborations. After having partnered with SNEAKER FREAKER at the beginning of the summer to reinterpret the famous asics GEL-Lyte III, the Japanese shop ATMOS reappropriates the OG silhouette and presents us an exclusive version for the end of the season.
For this new 100% Japanese collaboration, asics and atmos offer us a luxurious version of the famous silhouette with a slit tongue.
This GEL-Lyte III OG « Python » is available in 2 colorways : white/pearl grey or black.
It consists of an upper combining smooth leather and suede of high quality. This base is complemented by side stripes featuring a « Python » snakeskin pattern, in shades of grey for the white/pearl grey pair and tone on tone for the black version. To ensure the look, the inner lining, laces, eyelets and midsole appear in color matching the upper. Both colorways feature small windows on the mudguard, made of green phosphorescent material to imitate the glowing eyes of snakes. This material is also found in the rear part of the outsole. The rest of the outsole is dressed in light grey for the white version and black for the black variation.
The ASICS GEL-LYTE III OG PYTHON duo will be released on September 23, 2022 in stores and online via a raffle now open on atmos-tokyo.com. The price is set at $115 (¥16500) per colorway.
