Continuing the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the iconic GEL-Lyte 3, the Japanese from Asics offer us the silhouette in its original 1990 shape and dressed in materials influenced by the prestigious brand’s Made In Japan collections. An Asics GEL-Lyte 3 OG Black Denim is presented to us today.
The shoe designed by the famous Shigeyuki Mitsui pays tribute to Japanese craftsmanship and more particularly to the ancestral know-how of assembling fabrics in order to design high quality products.
The sneaker consists of a frayed black denim upper with black smooth leather overlays. Honey beige leather branding patches on the tongue and the heel and the back side, bring a nice touch of contrast and extra elegance. Laces, heel clip and lining in black color complete the design. The shape and original elements such as the split tongue and the GEL technology cushioning are preserved to affirm the authentic look of the pair. The whole is based on a comfortable, high-performance black midsole and off-white notched outsole.
The Asics Gel Lyte 3 OG Black Denim will be available on October 13, 2020 at selected retailers such as AFEW, Overkill, Foot District, 43 Einhalb and on Asics.com for a retail price of 120€. Get ready !
