The famous Japanese brand ASICS unveils the 2nd part of its « Academic Scholar pack » released in 2019. For this 2022 edition, the collection consists of a GEL-Lyte III that appeared a few weeks ago (article available HERE) and an exclusive GT-II.
The 2 silhouettes have the same look of collegiate inspiration.
They appear dressed in blue and green, and consist of a mix of pig suede and premium leather.
As seen in the article about it, the GEL-Lyte III also combines touches of mustard yellow on the inner lining, eyelets and heel tab, as well as contrasting white on the front overlay.
In a more classic spirit, the GT-II features yellow only on the side Tiger Stripes and tongue branding, and white on the inner lining and midsole. It has a green leather heel reinforcement and a navy blue front overlay. On this model, the toe box perforations extend to the leather tongue. A two-tone navy/white outsole completes the design.
The ASICS Academic Scholar Pack 2022 pairs will be released on different dates. The GEL-Lyte III will launch on April 1 for $120 and the GT-II will be available during June 2022 and cost $110. For more details, stay tuned !
