American rapper Tariq Devega aka A$AP Nast and equipment manufacturer REEBOK unveil a new part of their collaboration. The A$AP Mob member, a fan of the Comme des Garçons brand, brings an outdoor touch to the Reebok Zig Kinetica II Edge silhouette.
After collaborating with the Converse brand in 2017 and 2019, the Harlem artist decided to take a different way by joining the Reebok family. This Zig Kinetica II Edge marks the 2nd joint project, following a Classic Leather Legacy released earlier this year.
The new release is tagged under the rapper’s NSTS imprint.
In a trail-inspired design, it sports a red mesh upper featuring a rough black grid pattern. This base is complemented by black suede overlays with yellow stitching. To affirm the look, other elements appear in yellow, such as the side vector logo, the woven stripe added to the front of the mudguard and the round hiking laces. The sneaker features a comfortable black inner lining and a quick lacing system to accentuate comfort and efficiency. Also, we discover the white NSTS branding applied on the black heel pull and another vector logo on the side heel counter, this time in purple. To accentuate the robustness, the pair benefits from black rubber front and rear reinforcements. The Floatride Fuel midsole and Floatride Energy drop-in forefoot offer comfort and premium responsive cushioning. It comes in black with black side clips speckled with yellow to accentuate the design. A black VIBRAM Ecostep performance outsole finalizes the comfort and trail inspiration of the model. In an eco-responsible approach, it’s designed using recycled rubber.
The ASAP Nast x Reebok Zig Kinetica II Edge will be released on October 29, 2021, at select retailers such as TITOLO (titoloshop.com) or Asphaltgold (asphaltgold.com), for a suggested retail price of 160$. It will also be available on the reebok.com website. Be ready !
