In 2019, the first collaboration between the American Arizona Beverage Company and the German giant adidas was a big hit. A very limited number of Continentals and Yung 96 had been sold for an incredible $1, the price of an Arizona Iced Tea. Today the two partners, very strong in marketing, are once again teaming up on the mythical Superstar silhouette, declined in two colorways.
A first preview of one of the versions has been unveiled.
This all-leather shoe is dressed in the original colors of the iced tea brand : blue, light green, pink, white and a touch of yellow. It has a mismatched look, the panels appear in different colors with the three matching adidas stripes that have become almost invisible. Colorful playful patterns are embroidered in a seemingly random way all over the vamp and the Arizona logo adorns the heel. To complete the design, we discover a leather heel strap and an emoji-shaped lace-up dubrae. Cream-colored touches such as the inner lining, laceguard, laces, the emblematic rubber shell on the toe box and the midsole harmonize the design. The whole is completed by the black inscription « Have a Iced Day », the Arizona branding and the two logos appearing under the translucent outsole.
The pair comes with a pouch featuring the Cherry Blossom flavor design and extra laces for the best matchings.
The Arizona x adidas Superstar will be available in 2021 at selected retailers and on adidas.com for around 100€. We’ll keep you updated with the latest news, so stay tuned !
