AMBUSH x Nike Air Adjust Force « Black »

After many successful collaborations, including the recent Dunk High revisited (article available HERE), Yoon Ahn of AMBUSH and NIKE seem to be working on a new project. The American-Korean designer has remodeled a silhouette rarely seen since 1996, the Nike Air Adjust Force bball.

Teased on AMBUSH founder Yoon Ahn’s Instagram account, this special version sports a 90’s retro look at first glance.

It’s crafted from black nubuck and is adorned with contrasting white Swooshes logos at the toe box, quarter panel and tongue. A modern touch is provided by a removable midfoot overlay that closes with Velcro and features a pink and purple jewel Swoosh insert. The whole is based on a comfortable black midsole and a reworked outsole featuring Nike Grind rubber.

For now, no AMBUSH branding details are visible. They could be carefully affixed on internal parts of the shoe, in all subtlety, as often with Yoon Ahn … To be continued !
