The American giant NIKE continues to celebrate the 35 years of the legendary Air Max 1 with high-end collabs and exclusive versions. While the highly anticipated « The Next Wave » designed with Patta will be released in a few days (article available HERE), the Swoosh brand presented a « Tour Yellow » as part of the 5th edition of SNKRS Day.
This special AM1 is part of the pairs celebrating the SNKRS application of Nike in 2022.
It consists of a premium white base combining mesh and grained leather. A nice touch of contrast is provided by touches of yellow at the mudguard and the iconic Swoosh logo on the side also in grained leather. To harmoniously complete the look, the brandings on the tongue tag and heel appear in yellow. The tongue, white inner lining and laces are presented in white. The whole is based on an off-white midsole and a light grey outsole that bring the final touch to Tinker Hatfield’s design.
The Air Max 1 « Tour Yellow » is released for SNKRS Day 2022 on August 8, 2022 on Nike’s app for $160. It will be available in a few days at select retailers like SNS or END. via already open raffles. Good luck !
