Continuing the Air Jordan IV’s 30th anniversary celebration, the brand at the Jumpman re-released its most popular colorway, « Fire Red ». The Tinker Hatfield silhouette introduced in 1989 had only reappeared once before, in 2012 in a slightly modified form. The 2020 pair features the OG shape for the delight of sneakerheads.
The legendary shoe, in the colors of the Chicago Bulls, features a white leather upper complemented by red and black TPU details. The white tongue and quarter panel parts in mesh show off the black underlay. The mythical red « Nike Air » branding appears again on the black heel. A red Jumpman on the retro tongue label, an inner lining also in red, white laces and a black clip covering the entire lower side of the sneaker finalize the design. The whole is based on a white and red midsole with the transparent Air unit under the heel, combined with a light grey outsole.
The Air Jordan IV « Fire Red » will be released on November 28, 2020 at selected retailers such as AFEW via a raffle on afew-store.com and Nike.com. Price between 140€ to 190€ depending on the size (from EU 35.5 to EU 50.5).
As for the return of the AJ4 « Bred » last year, the famous German shop AFEW has reinterpreted a Jordan commercial by creating its own characters : Mars Blackmon and Grandpa B.
