The Jumpman brand is bringing Michael « His Airness » Jordan’s 9th signature shoe back into the spotlight. While a duo of AJ9 Boot NRG will be released in a few days, JORDAN BRAND is bringing a twist to a 1994 Air Jordan 9 OG.

Originally released in 1993, the AJ 9 was designed by Tinker Hatfield after a trip to Asia with Michael Jordan. The shoe has a minimalist look and is adorned with details inspired by Japanese culture.

Named « Olive Concord », this new Air Jordan 9  takes the color blocking of the version « Olive » dating from 1994.

It dressed in a Black/Bright Concord/Light Olive and Aquatone.

This bball consists of a black leather upper with small details in relief on the side panels. This base is enhanced by an olive brown nubuck overlay on the mudguard, collar and heel. Initially in red, the tongue and heel branding are presented in purple and aqua on this version. The « Air Jordan » on the tongue and the Jumpman badge on the heel above the legendary number 23. An all-black sole completes the look.

The Air Jordan 9 « Concord Olive » will be released on January 7, 2023, for $200 at select retailers and on nike.com
