While the Air Jordan 6 « UNC » was released a few days ago (article available HERE), Jordan Brand is working on another eye-catching retro colorway. This next version honors one of the big opponents of His Airness : the Georgetown Hoyas.
This iconic team of Allen Iverson, before becoming the offensive leader of the Philadelphia Sixers, has already gotten an Air Jordan 3 in 2021 and an Air Jordan 1 High ’85 coming out soon.
According to the first look given by the knowledgeable account @chickenwop_, the AJ6 « Georgetown » is dressed in a classic Magnet and College Navy color palette. It features a grey suede upper with matching overlays. The tongue, laces and heel tab are also featured in grey. To complete the design, the midsole appears grey with navy blue accents and the outsole is icy semi-translucent. It could be that the pair is adorned with Infrared accents… To be confirmed.
The Air Jordan 6 « Georgetown » will be released on September 3, 2022 at select retailers and nike.com, priced at $200. More details to come, stay tuned !
