The American giant Nike unveiled its complete « Chinese New Year » 2021 collection, composed of popular models of the Swoosh brand, Jordan, but also Converse. In addition to the Air Jordan 1 Low OG presented previously (article available HERE), an Air Jordan 5 Low will be part of this annual tribute pack.
The shoe is available in a Sail, Chile Red, Opti Yellow and Pearl White color scheme.
It consists of a semi-transparent sail color canvas upper that can be removed to reveal an undercoat covered with bright and varied color graphics. A beautiful touch of harmony is brought by red accents, especially on the TPU lace eyelets, the inner lining and signature details on the off-white midsole. Special patches, based on the design of the motifs hidden under the canvas, are embroidered on the heel and behind the black tongue with the red Jumpman. To complete the look, the word « ACTION » stands out under the white mesh of the medial panel, the insole is dressed in red and the white laces are adorned with a transparent lace lock. A yellowed translucent vintage outsole adds the finishing touch.
This pair will be delivered in a special box covered with the geometric and colorful patterns present on the underside of the vamp.
The Air Jordan 5 Low « Chinese New Year » will be released on January 23, 2021, at selected retailers and on nike.com, for a suggested retail price of 215€.
