Michael Jordan’s 5th signature sneaker, the Air Jordan 5, continues to be reinterpreted. It was notably used as a basis for the famous collab with Off-White and has been reintroduced in various retro colorways. The brand at the Jumpman unveils a new version called « Jade Horizon ».
The silhouette designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield consists of a suede upper in jade green with matching overlays and side netting. This base is accented with aged-looked beige TPU eyelets and pink accents on the inner lining, tongue branding, lace lock, shark teeth on the midsole and visible Air unit. An additional touch of color is provided by the silver tongue. The whole is based on a black midsole combined with a semi-translucent rubber outsole that recalls the color of the eyelets.
The Air Jordan 5 « Jade Horizon » will be released on December 4, 2021, at select retailers and nike.com, priced at 190$.
