While the release of the Air Jordan 3 in a new colorway « Cardinal » will take place in a few hours, (article available HERE), Jordan Brand seems to work on a new version « Desert Elephant ».
This new version should be part of the Summer range of the brand of Beaverton. It takes the color blocking of the iconic AJ3 « Black Cement ».
The new interpretation consists of a black grained leather upper, complemented by overlays on the forefoot and side heel in the famous Elephant print. On this exclusive version, the signature print is dressed in a natural brown shade. To complete the new look, the tongue, upper eyelets, insole and collar appear in a contrasting light pinkish white color. The inner tongue panel, lower eyelets and signature Jumpman tongue logo add cachet to the pair with a bold orange hue. As an added detail, Tinker Hatfield’s design formula stands out on the insole label. The whole is based on an off-white midsole and a light grey outsole.
The Air Jordan 3 « Desert Elephant » will be released during the month of June 2022 at select retailers and nike.com, priced around $200. For the latest official details, stay tuned !
