A l’occasion des 30 ans de la Air Jordan III Black Cement, Jordan Brand a décidé de rééditer le modèle original que portait Michael Jordan lors du All Star Game 1988 et de sa saison MVP 87/88.
Quel plaisir de retrouver un modèle qui m’avait scotché dans les années 90 et que je n’avais pas pu avoir en 1994 comme en 2001. Seul une paire d’occasion achetée en 2002 m’avait permis de satisfaire cette envie d’adolescent fan de basket-Ball.
Premier modèle designé, par Tinker Hatfield pour Michael Jordan, cette paire fut la première Nike Air Jordan avec une bulle d’air apparente et un design agrémenté d’éléphant print. Nous sommes vraiment en face d’un modèle culte ayant révolutionné la chaussure de basket tant en marketing qu’en matière sportive.
La paire se compose d’un upper en cuir grainé noir, contrasté par de l’éléphant print gris au niveau du talon et du toe box. Le jumpman au niveau de la languette, la doublure et la semelle intérieure sont de couleur rouge. Sur cette version 2018, on retrouve le logo Nike Air au niveau du talon.

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Air Jordan III Black Cement, Jordan Brand has decided to reissue the original model worn by Michael Jordan during the 1988 All Star Game and his MVP 87/88 season.
What a pleasure to find a model that had me glued in the 90s and that I could not have in 1994 as in 2001. Only a pair of used opportunity bought in 2002 had allowed me to satisfy this desire of teenager basketball fan.
First model designed, by Tinker Hatfield for Michael Jordan, this pair was the first Nike Air Jordan with an apparent air bubble and a design embellished with elephant print. We are really in front of a cult model that has revolutionized the basketball shoe in both marketing and sports.
The pair consists of a black grained leather upper, contrasted by gray print elephant at the heel and toe box. The jumpman at the tongue, the lining and the insole are red. On this 2018 version, we find the Nike Air logo at the heel.
