A few weeks ago, I told you in an article (available HERE), about a new colorway of Jordan 1 reminding the famous yellow and black dress of the New York Taxi. The « Taxi », expected for a few years now, was immediately successful for a release sold out in a few minutes.
Having had the chance to buy it, I suggest you to discover it in pictures at my feet.
In typical « Black Toe » color blocking style, Michael Jordan’s 1st signature shoe features a premium leather upper combining yellow on the toe box, heel cup and ankle flaps, with black on the collar, tongue, ankle Wings logo, side Swoosh, laceguard and front overlays. The look is completed with white side panels, matching the midsole and tongue tag. A yellow rubber outsole completes the look.
I find this color scheme totally successful. The distribution of yellow, black and white seems perfect to me. The leather also seems to me of good quality, as the finishes that I find correct on my pair. You will have understood, I validate in 100% this « Taxi » which seems to me essential in a collection of Jordan 1 High.
