Since its release in 1985, the iconic Air Jordan 1 has come in an impressive number of colorways. 2020 has been a strong year for this legendary silhouette. The OG models are the most popular and sought after by sneakerheads. Jordan Brand continues to develop new versions of classics. The iconic AJ1 High OG « Shadow » has been reinterpreted and appears under the evocative name « Shadow 2.0 ».
The update of this shoe is expressed in a subtle and elegant design. The reference grey color is presented in a lighter shade than the initial version. Other changes include the color scheme on the upper and the materials used.
The 2021 version consists of a black leather upper, contrasted by the entire overlays in light smoke grey suede. The side swoosh is also light grey and the Wings logo adorning the collar appears in black. To complete the tribute to the OG model, the black tongue retains its nylon construction and is adorned with the traditional Nike Air branding label. Black laces and inner lining complete the look. To finalize the tribute, the whole is based on a white midsole combined with a black rubber outsole.
