Jordan Brand seems to have set a goal to satisfy its fans ! While hyper attractive collabs with the shop A MA MANIERE and the famous DJ Khaled are about to be released, the Jumpman brand announces the launch of the most awaited pair of 2022 : the Air Jordan 1 High OG « Lost & Found ».
Also called « Chicago Reimagined », this faithful version of the iconic AJ1 High « Chicago » from 1985 will return in the coming days, to the delight of sneakerheads of the 1st hour but also young and new fans of vintage sneakers.
Reissued a 1st time in 1994, then in 2015, the Air Jordan 1 « Chicago » makes its comeback this year.
The Jordan Brand team wants to revive this mythical colorway that made basketball history. The « Chicago » was the most worn by the great Michael Jordan in his early days, when he showed the world what an exceptional player he was.
The shoe is dressed in the colors of the Chicago Bulls : red / black / white. It consists of a white leather base, complemented by red overlays also in leather and black elements, such as the iconic leather side Swoosh, the ankle Wings logo and the collar. This last part of the shoe appears in worn/cracked leather to assert the vintage feel and mimic the condition of the OG model when it was actually worn in the 80s. To complete the look, the tongue appears in nylon and cream, and is adorned with a classic retro red « Nike Air » branding label. The whole is based on a yellowed midsole and a red outsole.
The pair will come in a worn and mismatched box (black with an orange lid), and accompanied by an old invoice as a receipt, that reminds us of the time when payment by credit card was not yet common.
The Air Jordan 1 High OG « Lost & Found » will be released on November 19, 2022 in family sizes, at select retailers like SNS or Footpatrol via raffles, as well as on Nike’s SNKRS app. Prices range from $43 for baby sizes to $180 for the men’s version. Good luck !
