The iconic Air Jordan 1 High silhouette is still one of the most popular and sought-after sneakers on the market. Jordan Brand regularly offers us new colorways and reissues of cult pairs. Today, the official photos of the upcoming Air Jordan 1 High « Black Metallic Gold » are presented to us.
This new iteration pays tribute to the first Air Jordan 1 in patent leather, the AJ Mid of 2003. It’s also inspired by the design of the 2013 Air Jordan Retro OG « Black Metallic Gold White ».
The shoe features a black patent leather upper with a beautiful and strong touch of contrast provided by the Metallic Gold colour. This shade is found on the lateral Swoosh, around the ankle, on the emblematic Wings, as well as on the tongue branding. The black colour that defines the inner lining, the laces and the nylon tongue complete the design. The whole is based on a black rubber sole with a Metallic Gold stitching, finalizing the matching.
