Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Georgetown”

Jordan Brand has some nice surprises in store for this new year 2022. In addition to the collabs to come with the shops A MA MANIERE and CLOT (articles available on this site), the brand at the Jumpman will offer us a retro version of the Air Jordan 1 High ’85.

To the delight of AJ1 fans, Jordan Brand has delved into its archives to develop its next opus. The new bball will resemble the original Air Jordan 1 Georgetown sample that appeared in 1985. Having worked on the Dunks before creating the Air Jordan 1, designer Peter Moore was naturally inspired by the college colors to dress up this sample.

This 2022 Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Georgetown” would therefore feature a College Navy, Summit White and Tech Grey color palette. It would consist of a light grey leather upper with navy leather overlays. The harmony of the design would be ensured by the iconic leather side Swoosh and the Nike Air branding of navy blue tongue. To complete the look, white shade would appear at the nylon tongue, ankle Wings logo and midsole. A navy blue outsole would provide the finishing touch.

The Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Georgetown” will be released during the month of April 2022, at select retailers and nike.com, with a suggested retail price of €200. For the latest official details, stay tuned !
