During the presentation of the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2022 collection, Virgil Abloh had unveiled Air Force 1 Low and Mid paying tribute to hip hop culture (article available HERE). Among the 21 announced colorways, a version Low « White Leather » has just surfaced in more detail on social networks.
The iconic silhouette designed by Bruce Kilgore appears dressed in an off-white leather featuring the famous LV monogram and the legendary checkerboards embossed. This special material covers the upper, overlays, the iconic side Swoosh and the tongue. The tongue tag is vertically stitched and features the « Louis Vuitton Nike Air » co-branding in black. The off-white laces are adorned with Virgil Abloh’s signature “LACET”, and a small leather tag to match the upper is added to the back of the Swoosh. We also find « Louis Vuitton Paris » branding on the heel tab and iconic lettering on the side panels. To finalize the look, the inner lining and sole, adorned with the famous signature “AIR”, are presented in white.
The Air Force 1 Low x Louis Vuitton « White Leather » will be released during the month of March 2022, at hyper selected retailers. For the latest official details, stay tuned !
