The American giant Nike continues to reissue emblematic models that are highly prized by sneakerheads, including Dunks and Air Force 1s from the early 2000s released exclusively in Japan. After the release at the end of 2020 of the 2001 Dunk Low « Ugly Duckling » pack on international soil, a CO.JP shoe from 2002 will also be back soon, the Air Force 1 Low « Acorn ».
Although no preview has yet been unveiled, this Nike Air Force 1 Low should look like the original.
The shoe has a neutral color that combines a light beige « Underbrush » canvas upper with overlays and a side swoosh in natural leather. The « Acorn » color adds cachet to the pair. It can be found on the inner lining, laces and the outsole. A light beige canvas tongue with a caramel beige branding label and the Nike Air embroidered in white on the heel harmonize the design. The finishing touch is provided by a white midsole.
The Air Force 1 Low « Acorn » will be released on April 29, 2021 at selected Japanese retailers. For the moment, a worldwide release has not been announced, stay tuned for the latest news !
