The famous Queens streetwear brand AIME LEON DORE unveils a new collaboration with the equipment manufacturer NEW BALANCE during the presentation of its Fall/Winter 2021 collection. After relaunching the NB 550 bball (article available HERE), Teddy Santis’ label reinterprets the NB 993 running shoe.
ALD called on Action Bronson and Mordechai Rubinstein to give us a glimpse of this new collab with the Boston-based brand.
The NB 993 comes in 2 colorways, « beef and broccoli » on the rapper’s feet, and in a sail and purple arrangement for the version worn by the street photographer.
This pair consists of a mesh upper with suede overlays and a leather side N logo. A black sole with ABZORB and ACTEVA technologies ensures the look and comfort.
The 1st colorway features a dark brown base with brown suede overlays in a lighter shade. Green elements such as toe box inserts, tongue and side N logo complete the design.
The 2nd colorway combines purple mesh with Bone white suede and touches of plum color. Just like the 1st iteration, this version features black laces and sole.
