After offering us elegant and attractive sneakers designed in partnership with New Balance (articles available on this site), Teddy Santis’ prestigious fashion and lifestyle brand AIME LEON DORE presents a collaboration with the cult British label CLARKS. The legendary Wallabee silhouette was chosen to develop this project.
Unveiled on ALD’s official Instagram account, the shoe retains its traditional shape while adding a touch of originality brought by the Queens label.
ALD’s New York roots and strong aesthetics can be found on this pair : the traditional suede has been replaced by a light beige fleece fabric that looks worn out. The collar and the insert with the stitching on the front part of the foot appear in suede matching the vamp, a nod to the construction of the original model. The laces and the 2 tags embellished with the golden CLARKS branding also appear in beige color, ensuring the shoe’s neat and distinguished look. A black ALD mini tag sewn under the side collar and a traditional crepe sole finalize the design.
