The famous German shop AFEW unveils a new collaboration with the Japanese brand ASICS. In 2015 and 2018, the partners had offered us 2 pairs that were very successful, the GEL-Lyte III « Koi » and « Orange Koi » (articles available on this site), also a special black version. Today, they present us another exclusive version « Beauty of Imperfection CP 1/1 » unique in the world.
This special AFEW x asics GEL-Lyte III was created in collaboration with the community and is inspired by the Wabi-Sabi philosophy, like its predecessors.
It consists of a detachable off-white perforated suede upper, enhanced by the grey 3-Stripes and overlays on the forefoot. The eyelets, a side part and the heel tab are presented in mustard yellow. To complete the design, a touch of black appears on the heel reinforcement. AFEW and ASICS branding adorns the heel, alongside a Japanese inscription. An off-white midsole and gum outsole finish off the look nicely.

All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the Regenbogenland Children’s and Youth Hospice. A facility for young people who have a limited life expectancy due to severe illness or disability. The home also supports parents and siblings. Regenbogenland is intended to be like a second home for families, where life and joy of living are given priority, and the remaining time for family and child is shaped as positive and fulfilling as possible.
