A few weeks ago, I told you in an article (available HERE) about the second Yamasura Afew Goods. This 2nd 100% vegan colorway is inspired by the first rays of the sun, the magic of the sunrise. The name « Dawn » symbolizes the new possibilities, the new chances that each new day offers us.
Having had the chance to receive it, thanks to my friends at AFEW, I suggest you to discover it in pictures at my feet.
It consists of a white mesh toe box, accompanied by shiny overlays in vegan leather in a combination of sandy beige and light pinkish brown. The brand’s logo adorns the quarter panel, the Afew Goods branding stands out in brown on the tongue tag and the model name is engraved on the side heel. To complete the look, the pair benefits from a white inner lining, matching laces and a circular metallic dubrae featuring the Afew Goods logo. The whole tus based on an off-white BLOOM Algae EVA sole (made from seaweed and synthetic materials) that guarantees comfort and durability.
I find this shoe dressed in 100% vegan sustainable leather and made from corn waste, really interesting. The quality of materials is not in doubt, as the finishes are beautiful. We are here in front of the future of the sneaker, with the use of eco-friendly materials of quality and an ethic aiming to decrease the carbon footprint with a production in Portugal.
