As 2022 has just begun, the German sportswear giant’s next generation ULTRA BOOST 2023 has emerged on social media. ADIDAS launched its first Ultra BOOST models in 2019. They have won over athletes for their advanced technology but also entities beyond running, such as the surprising collabs with the toy brand LEGO (articles available HERE).
For 2023, the German brand is going even further and betting on duality with a bold sole.
The first glimpse of the updated silhouette shows a larger, more aggressive, more streamlined pair with a thick and high BOOST sole that looks inflated. It’s adorned with a new split effect in the middle. This new feature is sure to provide improved comfort and stability, as well as premium cushioning.
ADIDAS highlights this flagship BOOST technology by oversizing it and reducing the upper portion of the shoe. The Primeknit upper appears reworked for a more refined and polished result. To complete the sleek new look, the heel clips have been slimmed down and contoured, meeting at the back of the foot for added support. The TPU lace cage has also been redesigned with this in mind and « frame » the legendary 3-Stripes.
The ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST 2023 will be released in late 2022-early 2023 at select retailers and on adidas.com. As soon as we have more details, we’ll let you know, stay tuned !
