Who has never wrote or drawn on his sneakers, wishing to personalize them? Very few people can answer « me ». The German sneaker manufacturer adidas honors this timeless and universal fact by presenting us with a brand new « Sharpie Pack » composed of 4 classic silhouettes.
This collection consists of 4 cult models in their OG colorway : the Superstar (white and black), Stan Smith (white and green), Continental 80 (white with gumsole) and Nizza Low (all white).
These pairs, of mainly white leather, are adorned with multiple black inscriptions, seemingly handmade with a graffiti type marker. Each pair features the silhouette name, Trefoil logo and the adidas tagline « the brand with the 3 stripes » in various languages, hashtags, as well as small graphics such as stars, hearts and flowers scattered all over the foot, all the way to the sole. To complete the design, the laces, traditionally white, are decorated with touches of black. We also discover the adidas headquarters’ 3 main locations at the side heel or between the Three Stripes : Herzogenaurach in Germany, Boston in the United States and Shanghai in China.
The adidas « Sharpie Pack » is already available at selected stores in Asia and will soon be available in Europe and the United States at the usual price for each silhouette. More info coming soon, stay tuned !
