The two partners have integrated a film studio into the project in order to create a sneaker duo inspired by Baz Luhrmann’s 1996 film « Romeo + Juliet », a revisited version of Shakespeare’s mythical work.
Having had the chance to receive one of the pairs in the pack, I suggeste you to discover at my feet the « Romeo ».
The « Roméo » consists of a smooth leather upper in different colors on each side of the shoe : red « Sunset » and deep blue « Ocean ». On top, multicolored floral prints and midnight blue palm trees refer to Leonardo Di Caprio’s shirts. The khaki green tongue, as well as the 3 adidas side stripes and the midnight blue heel tab complete the design. To highlight the varied colors and patterns of this iteration, the iconic shell toe, lining, laces and sole appear in white.
