German giant adidas continues the return of its basketball silhouette released in 1984, the FORUM Low, by presenting us with an exclusive new version at Atmos, named « Unveil » and paying homage to « unboxing ».
Unboxing, unpacking, or driiing in my case, is an important and irreplaceable ritual for a sneakerhead.
With this shoe, adidas extends this pleasure : the upper is adorned with a first layer inspired by the tissue paper that protects the sneaker in the box. The glossy white material is embellished with light grey trefoil logos to perfectly match the adidas signature wrapping paper. Taking the « discovery » of the pair that unboxing usually brings, this first layer is rubbed off to reveal a colorful and graphic design on the entire front of the foot, sides, heel and even the velcro strap above the tongue. White elements such as the inner lining, laces, insole and sole complete the look.
The Adidas Originals Forum Low « Unveil » is limited to 500 pieces and will be released exclusively at Atmos shops in Japan on November 14, 2020 via a draw available from November 11 on www.atmos-tokyo.com
The price is set at 120€, sizes ranging from EU 37 to EU 48.
