A few days ago, I told you in an article (available HERE) about the collaboration between Adidas and the English retailler Footpatrol. Used to projects with Adidas for many years now, they decided to work on a cult silhouette of the German repertoire : the Campus.

Having had the chance to receive it in advance, I suggest you to discover it in pictures on my feet.

The adidas Campus 80s collaborative sports an eye-catching streetwear-chic look. It appears mostly off-white in color.

The shoe consists of an off-white pig suede upper with a toe box and matching hairy suede side 3-Stripes. On the other side of the foot, those iconic adidas stripes have been removed to reveal the white mesh underlay. This collaborative pair features a double tongue with 2 different layers : the outer side appears in ‘pony hair’ while the inner tongues (on the left, navy blue and on the right, burgundy red) are inspired by the colorways of the Footpatrol x adidas Campus collaborations from 2007 and 2011. These previous collabs are also honored through the co-branded insoles featuring their Mustard and ‘Iron’ grey colorways. To complete the look, the heel tabs feature a recycled Snakeskin print overlay with embossed adidas logos. Underneath, the years ‘2002-2022’ are revealed to pay homage to FOOTPATROL’s 20-year anniversary. The London-based store’s name also stands out around the gold foil-printed side collar of the ankle. Laces and an all off-white sole finish off the design nicely.

The Footpatrol x adidas Originals Campus 80s will be released on May 27, 2023 for £100 ($124), in stores and online via the  Footpatrol Launches app (starting at 8am). Don’t sleep !
