In addition to participating in the exclusive reissue of the famous CENTENNIAL model (article available HERE), the famous Japanese shop ATMOS unveils the new collaborative project of adidas with the graffiti artist COOK. The partners have chosen to reimagine the CAMPUS 80s silhouette.

This shoe was very popular during the 80s. Initially designed for basketball, it was quickly adopted by skateboarders and other street culture players. COOK remembers wearing adidas Campus during graffiti sessions.

This collaborative version is inspired by the artist’s experience.

Presented in black or forest green, the shoe consists of a suede upper with white leather 3 Stripes on the sides. It sports a worn-in look that nods to COOK’s graffiti art. We find white paint splatter patterns scattered across the upper and a yellowed sole with wear marks and black accents that accentuate the design. On the black pair, the heel tab and tongue tag appear in black and white, while on the green version these elements are adorned in bright yellow and white. Special branding is applied to the tongue : the adidas Trefoil is paired with « COOK-chan », an illustration of COOK with a hand-painted can, and the name « SUPER DUPER ». An insole combining Atmos branding with adidas logo and laces that look frayed add the finishing touches to the design.

This special CAMPUS will be released with a collaborative triple apparel collection.

It includes a black hoodie, a white short sleeve t-shirt and a white long sleeve t-shirt. These indisputable streetwear pieces are offered in 2 versions: with the COOK-chan tag in white and black or white and blue “atmos”. To complete the special graffiti outfit, the partners have created a pair of blue denim pants with paint stains and an adjustable off-white apron that is also dirty.

The adidas Originals CAMPUS 80s COOK x ATMOS and the collaborative triple apparel collection will be released at atmos and adidas stores in Japan on October 22, 2022 and online via an open raffle on atmos-tokyo.com starting October 17, 2022. Prices are set at $92 (¥13,500) for the pair of shoes, $82 (¥12,100) for the hoodie, $40 (¥5,940) for the short-sleeved t-shirt, $49 (¥7,150) for the long-sleeved t-shirt, $225 (¥33,000) for the jeans and $150 (¥22,000) for the apron.
