The famous Japanese shop ATMOS regularly presents us interesting collaborative projects, especially with the German giant adidas (several articles available on this site). Today, the famous retailer unveils its very first model in collaboration with adidas Consortium, the EQT PROTYPE atmos.
The Consortium is a high-end line of the German brand dedicated to innovation and exclusivity. It features new silhouettes that are only available in a limited number of partner shops worldwide.
For this EQT PROTOTYPE atmos, the design teams took a racing photo as a concept. This inspiration takes shape in the adidas side branding that has a motion blur effect and gives the impression that it’s moving at high speed. It’s partially hidden under the black overlays. The base of the shoe appears white, complemented by a bold yellow and grey camo pattern at the mudguard, eyelets and heel. Other black elements add character to the pair, such as the inner lining, heel pull, laces, dubraes, tongue tags featuring the adidas logo on one shoe and Consortium on the other, as well as the atmos and adidas branding embroidered on the right and left foot respectively. To finalize the look, the whole is based on a white midsole with black 3-Stripes on the side and a black spiked outsole.
The adidas Consortium « EQT PROTOTYPE atmos » will be available starting September 28, 2021 via a raffle on atmos-tokyo.com and will arrive on October 2, 2021 at the atmos Shinjuku store and ATAD. The price is set at 168$ (18700¥) and the pair comes with a book tracing the history of EQT. Don’t sleep !
