Introduced last year by Teddy Santis (article available HERE), the New Balance 990v6 model appears today in a new makeup. The Boston-based manufacturer has teamed up with all-around artist ACTION BRONSON to let his imagination run wild on this new silhouette.
ACTION BRONSON is at home in everything ! The New York rapper is also a painter, a chef, a TV personality, a wrestler and now a rookie designer.

Made in the USA, this special 990v6 sports a bold look that should appeal to most. It comes in an eye-catching mix of materials and bright colors.
The sneaker consists of a neon green mesh base, enhanced with leather or suede overlays in a combination of light brown, khaki green, several shades of blue and classic NB grey. To complete the look, the side N logo is dressed in grey with white outlines, laces appear two-tone pink/purple and the eggplant purple mesh heel features reflective details and a bright orange back brace featuring the NB logo and Made in USA. To affirm the collab, « baklava » (the rapper’s nickname and brand name) joins the 990v6 tongue branding. The whole is based on an ENCAP technology midsole in different shades of electric blue and a black outsole with an icy part.
The Action Bronson x New Balance 990v6 will be released on March 17, 2023 at 5pm for $220 on Specializinginlife.com, before a general release on March 24, 2023 on newbalance.com.
