Acronym x Nike Blazer Low « Night Maroon »

During the last Paris Fashion Week, Errolson Hugh, the co-founder of the brand ACRONYM, appeared wearing his latest collaboration with the giant NIKE based on the Blazer Low silhouette. This weekend, the pair was seen in more detail and in another colorway on the feet of MMA star Max Holloway.

With its innovative designs, fusion of style and technology in functional clothing, ACRONYM is a recognized brand in the streetwear world. Errolson Hugh is also close to Nike. He was responsible for overseeing the reintroduction of the ACG line.

With this Blazer Low, the famous designer wanted to innovate to redesign it in a new way. You’d think Errolson Hugh would have applied his signature monochromatic style to this shoe, but he chose to dress it up in a harmonious color combination.

It has a bold and technical look, ensured by deconstructed elements and an imposing heel reinforcement inspired by mechanics. In terms of colorway, the sneaker features a Night Maroon base with cutouts, a side Swoosh and an inner lining in lemon yellow as well as a neon pink tongue and black eyelets. To complete the design, the heel reinforcement appears two-tone purple and black, and the sole is dressed in slate grey. It seems that the co-branding is applied on the tongue label and the pair has a hangtag.

The Acronym x Nike Blazer Low « Night Maroon » will be released soon, before the end of 2021, at selected retailers and on nike.com, priced at 120$. For the latest official details, stay tuned !
