A few days ago, I told you in an article (available HERE) about the first collaboration between the German shop Acribik and the American running brand Saucony. Having been lucky enough to receive it in advance, I suggest you to discover it in pictures on my feet.
For this inaugural collaboration, the German shop’s team wanted to be inspired by the 80s. The shoe is adorned with a look that references the famous Hollywood series and movies of that time. The bold color palette is reminiscent of the retro « sunset » trend.
This sneaker features a multi-material upper. We discover bright white mesh at the toe box and black on the rest of the foot. This base is complemented by black suede inserts and a white textured leather side S logo. The key design element is the blue/pink « sunset » gradient that dresses the overlays on the front of the foot and is found on the back of the white midsole. To complete the vintage 80’s style, the name ACRIBIK is embroidered with pink thread on the heel in a retro writing, alongside the white SAUCONY brand. A co-branded tongue and pink/blue insoles featuring a palm tree print finalize the look. The whole is based on a white outsole with a black section under the heel.
