Atlanta-based shop A MA MANIERE unveils a new installment of its collaboration with NIKE. In addition to reworking the iconic Air Jordan 4 and Air Jordan 12 silhouettes, James Whitner and his team will participate in the reintroduction of the famous Nike Air Ship.
The Nike Air Ship was designed by the talented Bruce Kilgore and was most notable as the first Nike shoe worn by Michael Jordan in his NBA debut in 1984. His Airness was then honored with its 1st signature silhouette and Air Jordan line.
In 2020, Nike re-released the famous Air Ship and in February 2021, it appeared in the original White/Red colorway as part of the “New Beginnings” pack. A little later, this legendary model was offered to us in a combination of White/Green, White/Yellow and White/Orange in limited quantities and offered to certain public figures.
Today, A MA MANIERE presents its collaborative version in an iconic “Game Royal” colorway.
This Air Ship features classic color blocking, combining a smooth white leather base with a side Swoosh and a royal blue collar. The tongue tag is adorned with co-branding and the heel presented an antique white Nike Air script. To complete the look, the whole is based on a white midsole and royal blue outsole.
The pair will come with 2 sets of laces, one white and one royal blue, to ensure the best matchings.
