During the summer, the project of an upcoming collaboration between A MA MANIERE and JORDAN BRAND had surfaced (article available HERE). A few months later, the official photos of an exclusive Air Jordan 4 have been unveiled and the release date announced.
This special version is dressed in the « Violet Ore » colorway, a shade similar to the one used on previous collabs between the 2 brands.
The new AJ4 has an upper close to the monochrome. It consists of a purple base color tending to brown with matching overlays. The netting, flaps and eyelets in TPU but also the laces appear in the same shade to assert the design. A touch of contrast is provided by 2 black elements : the heel clip and the heel tab featuring the classic NIKE AIR branding on the outside and the ‘hidden’ phrase on the inside : « it’s not about the shoes…it’s about where you’re going ». To complete the look, the tongue is decorated with the logos of the 2 brands and is adorned with a padded inner side that recalls previous collabs. The whole is based on a cream midsole and a purple rubber outsole that harmoniously finalize the look.
The A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 4 « Violet Ore » will be released on November 24, 2022 for $225, in stores and on the websites of partners a-ma-maniere.com and nike.com. Be ready !
