Talented designer Ronnie Fieg unveils a new installment of his 8th Street collection for Clarks Originals. Started almost a year ago, the partnership between the KITH founder and the legendary shoe brand has already introduced some eye-catching new silhouettes (articles available on this site). This new release continues that trend by introducing the Rossendale and the Maycliffe.
This assortment will consist of 6 models and will be released as part of the KITH Spring 2 collection.
The Rossendale is a redesigned version of the famous Clarks Wallabee.
Ronnie Fieg has redesigned it in a running spirit by combining it with the Lockhill. It has a more narrowed, stretched and streamlined shape. Made entirely of high quality suede, this shoe was unveiled in 2 elegant and timeless colorways : Yellowed Beige and Olive Green. The iconic Trek Man logo has been flipped to appear as a runner to match the shoe’s inspiration. The toe box features the iconic visible stitching and the heel benefits from a Clarks-Fieg co-branded pull-on. A traditional crepe sole adds the finishing touch to the design.
The Mayclifffe comes to us in light grey or orange brown. It features a premium suede upper with side panels featuring delicate perforation details. Elastic eyelets are sewn into the sides of the foot so that the laces occupy a wider area, which gives the pair a special charm. Another special feature is the twisted stitching on the toe box and a padded collar that references running shoes. A co-branded heel pull and an iconic crepe sole complete the look.
To accompany these new silhouettes, Ronnie Fieg introduces 2 new colorways of Breacon : blue and grey/pink. The famous designer explains that this silhouette is important to him because it’s the first one he designed from scratch. Developed in 2014 for Ronnie’s former project « World of Niché », it mixes elements from luxury with athletic shoe details. The blue color shades of the 1st version and the grey/pink combination of the 2nd version help to highlight the intricate layering organization on the upper. Heel and tongue pulls, a padded heel tab and a traditional crep sole ensure the luxury runner look of this pair.
The newest installment of the 8th St. collection by Ronnie Fieg for Clarks Originals will be released on March 25, 2022 in stores and on kith.com. Don’t sleep !
