The famous German store 43einhalb unveils a new collaboration with the prestigious brand KangaROOS, which follows the Coil-R2 »OVIS« released in 2015. For this next collaborative project marking the 10th anniversary of the Fulda-based shop, the hunter saga continues and takes shape under the iconic Runaway silhouette, named »LUPUS« for the occasion.
Like the 2015 collab, this shoe was made in Germany by Muenchweiler-based manufacturer Hummel&Hummel. To affirm the exclusivity of this iteration, it’s limited to 800 pieces worldwide.
The white and black color contrast present on the pair that appeared 6 years ago, is abandoned in favor of shades of grey and blue with black accents. The strong character of »LUPUS« is expressed by a design in high-end materials like velvet and nubuck leather. This Ultimate collaborative also benefits from a black alcantara leather interior lining. To complete the design, we discover engraved branding details on the side panels, the wolf’s head on the heel and the 43 or KangaROOS logos and LUPUS on the leather tongue tag. The attention to detail extends to the engraved metallic silver dubrae, custom printed graphic insoles and pair numbering on the side heel. The look is finalized by a white EVA midsole, coupled with a translucent icy outsole.
This collaborative edition comes with 4 sets of laces (black, white, grey and turquoise) in a special box.
